In Dhaka, Kazi Monirul Islam got 45,642 votes. His closest BNP candidate, Salahuddin Ahmed, garnered 2,926 votes. The Naogaon ship’s candidate, Anwar Hossain Helal, got one lakh 5,552 votes. His closest rival, BNP candidate Alhaj Sheikh Rezaul Islam Reju, obtained 4,605 ​​votes.
