The World Health Organization (WHO) has listed three vaccines from Globe Biotech Limited, a subsidiary of Globe Pharmaceuticals Group of Companies Limited, a Bangladeshi pharmaceutical company, for preclinical testing.
Globe Biotech confirmed the information in a press release on Saturday. The list of vaccines has also been published on the WHO website.
The World Health Organization (WHO) added three vaccines discovered by Globe Biotech to its list of candidates for the Covid-19 vaccine on October 15. The corona vaccine ‘Bancovid’ is one of them.
The vaccines are the D614G variant mFNA vaccine, the DNA plasmid vaccine, and the Adonocirus Typo-5 Vcctor Caccine.

Researchers around the world are working to develop a vaccine to prevent the coronavirus. The World Health Organization has monitored more than 140 vaccines.
Vaccines typically take several years to develop and test. Vaccines are only suitable for use after going through several steps. However, in the case of the coronavirus vaccine, researchers are trying to complete it within 12 to 18 months.
