BNP Deputy Secretary General and former Daksu GS Khairul Kabir Khokon said: “The rape festival is taking place in the country during the term of the current government.” Violence against women, abuse of women and children has become a common phenomenon. The government patronizes rapists without taking any initiative to prevent the rape. Attacks by government parties and the police on anti-rape demonstrations in various locations are evidence of government sponsorship.
He said that the government, which has not protected the lives and property of the people, has lost all rights to remain in power. He asked the government to say goodbye to the by-elections.

There is no security in human life. Today our mothers and sisters are in the most helpless condition in this country. They are concerned at all times for their own safety. We want to make it clear that the government has lost all right to be in power. There is no reason for them to remain in power.
Quader Gani Chowdhury said that this government has completely failed to run the country. Today there is no security for human life and property. Mothers and sisters do not have the courage to leave home out of fear. There is no justice.

The very existence of the country is in danger in the horrible situation in which this illegitimate government has taken over the country. The country has become uninhabitable. The terrible tragedy that took place in Begumganj in Noakhali has shaken not only the entire nation, but also the world. Not just this incident in Noakhali, in recent months it has been realized that a rape festival has started. This is unacceptable.

Then I will tell the government to resign immediately and move forward to establish a popular government through by-elections under a neutral government. If you don’t go, the people of this country will wake up and force you to leave.
