A young man named Istiaq Ahmed had a sexual relationship with a young woman in Narayanganj’s Fatullah for 4 years. Later, following news of the marriage elsewhere, the police arrested Istiaq on the basis of the young woman’s case.
Istiaq’s yellow night was held at her home in the West Deobhog Nagbari area of Fatullah on Thursday night. He was arrested from there.
Police sent him to Narayanganj court in a rape case on Friday afternoon. The court sent him to jail.
According to the case, the girl had a love affair with Istiaq, son of Mizanur Rahman from the Nagbari area, 4 years ago. After that, he had sex with her showing the temptation of marriage at different times.
At one point, he rented an apartment on the third floor of Jiku Mia’s house adjacent to the Nagbari temple and began raping her in the temptation of marriage. The last time she was raped was on December 25, 2019 in that apartment. From then on, not today, but tomorrow, the Panyatara began to say that they would marry in this way.
She did not marry him even on the night of October 14. On the contrary, she informs her that she will marry elsewhere according to her parents’ choice and Istiaq scolds her so as not to disturb her. Subsequently, the girl informed her parents and filed a complaint with the police.
Istiaq claims that he had a love affair with the young woman. The young woman had two sexual relations in her own home with the consent of both. And they both told their parents about their love story. But my parents refused to accept it and arranged my marriage elsewhere.
Model Police Station Fatullah OC Aslam Hossain said Istiaq was arrested after discovering the truth in the initial investigation of the allegations. Istiaq is now in jail.
