RAB-1 arrested a 35-year-old madrasa teacher for allegedly raping a fifth-grade student in a secret room in Gazipur for three months. According to information provided by her, the girl was rescued from an isolated and closed house in the Dhaladia area of Sreepur in the district.
Said the arrested teacher. Asaduzzaman is the son of Mubarak Ali from the village of Uttar Betkashi in the Kasba upazila of Khulna. She and her family rented a house at Razzak Miah’s home in Dhaladia and taught at the Dhaladia Women’s Madrasa. The student’s parent has filed a case with the police station.
Abdullah Al Mamun, commander of the RAB-1 Gazipur camp, said the student’s family was extremely poor. Master Anaduzzaman took the girl to the Dhaladia area and told her that she would be allowed into the madrasa, including low-cost accommodation. Subsequently, the teacher recorded videos of rape and rape of female students day after day, threatening to kill them by holding them captive in a secret room in an isolated house in the area without admitting them to the madrasa. The student’s father called his mobile phone to ask about his whereabouts and said he was fine and was busy with his studies. After about three months, the father became suspicious. A few days ago, the father went to the madrasa and found out that the girl was missing. Unadmitted. He then went to the RAB-1 office to rescue the girl and filed a written complaint requesting legal help. Professor Asaduzzaman was arrested on Wednesday afternoon based on the complaints and the student was rescued for the information he gave him.
