Although Stephen Beagan called Bangladesh an important partner in the Indo-Pacific initiative, he did not elaborate on what he had discussed with Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen.
In particular, Washington has been asking Bangladesh to join the US Indo-Pacific Strategy or IPS strategic initiative.
