Education Minister Dr. Dipumani said that the education system is becoming realistic and up-to-date. He said major changes will be made soon to the students’ curriculum to make education more realistic. Now it is giving importance to improve the quality of education. He spoke as keynote guest while participating in the inaugural Best Reporting Award function and the inauguration of the new committee organized by the Education Reporters Association, Bangladesh (IRAB) at the International Mother Language Institute in the capital on Wednesday.
The Education Minister said that not only reliance on textbooks, but also activity-based activities are very important for acquiring knowledge. It can be more practical if you study according to reality.
The Education Minister said that at one point the challenge was educating everyone. Today, it has been possible for everyone to receive 100% education.
“Students are running past GPA-5 and their physical, mental and social stress is also increasing,” he said.
“We have been able to maintain education by training students online,” he said. Online education has become an integral part of our educational system. This method will be added to the educational system in the future. That is the demand of the time. There is no possibility of getting out of there.
The Education Minister said that teachers must also be taken care of to ensure quality education. The Ministry of Education is working on it. If it is possible to guarantee the financial security of teachers, they will be more attentive and responsible in teaching.
