Police arrested a young man named Arman Hossain Lalu (21) for raping a woman at gunpoint in Kabirhat upazila of Noakhali.
The victim’s brother filed a case with the Kabirhat Police Station on 3 October charging six people under the Prevention of Abuse of Women and Children Act.
After that, the police arrested the main defendant Arman. Son of Monir Hossain from the village of Uttar Jagdananda in District 4 of the Dhansindri union of Arman upazila.
On Tuesday, the victim alleged that five other defendants and their accomplices were angered after the arrest of the main defendant Arman. They threaten if Arman doesn’t get out of jail; Then they will cut it into pieces. They threaten to raid the woman’s house every day.
Although defendants wander in public, Kabirhat police say raids are carried out every day, defendants are not found. Now he is fleeing for fear of terrorists.

Police arrested the first defendant in the case and sent him to the district jail through court. An operation is underway to catch the other five defendants.
