Four people, including actress Nusrat Imroz Tisha and actor Irfan Sajjad, have been accused of mocking, converting and inciting communalism among followers of traditional religions. They have been sent a legal notice for that.

The other two to whom notifications have been sent are Abu Hayat Mahmud Bhuiyan, the director of the play, and Saleh Uddin Shoaib Chowdhury, the author.

Attorney Sumon Kumar Roy sent the letter on behalf of plaintiff Liton Krishna Das on Monday.

The name of the drama for which this legal notice has been given is ‘Vijaya’. It was built on the occasion of the autumn of Durga Puja.

The notice read: ‘My client has found out through various social media newspapers that he has performed a play called’ Vijaya ‘on the occasion of Durga Puja. As soon as the trial version of the play was released, the traditional community was eager to see it.

The ad also says: “It is a source of great regret that the observation of the work shows that it has subtly and abruptly killed the character of women belonging to traditional religions.” Furthermore, traditional men have been portrayed as drunk, cruel, incompetent, and indifferent. Through which paganism and conversion have been encouraged in a highly planned way.
