Arif Hossain said: “The depression is not likely to intensify further; In that case, there is no fear of the cyclone. However, we are monitoring whether it is taking the form of deep depression. There is signal number 1 at sea. A warning may be issued on Monday. “
The weather forecast for Monday indicates that light to moderate rain or squalls with temporary flurries are possible in the divisions of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet.
