Dhaka: Two additional attorneys general, Murad Reza and Momtaz Uddin Fakir, submitted their resignations to the president through the Ministry of Justice.
It is known that they submitted their resignation letter together with the president on Sunday (October 11).

He had been in office for a long time after the late Attorney General Mahbubey Alam.
On Sunday morning, he said: “I have submitted my letter of resignation to the president for personal reasons.”
After Mahbubey Alam’s death on October 8, the president said. Abdul Hamid appointed AM Amin Uddin, Senior Counsel of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and current Chairman of the Supreme Court Bar Association, as Attorney General of Bangladesh.
The government appointed AM Amin Uddin to the post after Attorney General Mahbubey Alam, who had been in charge since 2009, died in the ICU of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on September 27.
