Arman, a fourth-year honors student at the National University, told Jago News: Due to the current situation, there is no situation or preparation to take the exam. Even if the university takes classes online, it is not enough. If the test is performed in this situation, the expected result will not be obtained.

He said that he and his classmates were in similar trouble. For this reason, the student demanded to cancel the exam and deliver the certificate through evaluation in different ways.

The students of the National University have demanded an autopsy by canceling the exam in the situation that arose.

Swapan Ali Haider is the tutor of Bilkis Haider, a third year honors student from Bangla College in Mirpur. He told Jago News: “The situation in the country has made survival difficult. Due to the closure of educational institutions for a long time, his children have become irregular in their studies.

He said: ‘Since it was not possible to take classes for a long time after the university closed, the students would be in trouble if they suddenly announced that they would take the exams. They have to face a great loss in education. Therefore, some alternatives should be considered.

In this regard, the Dean of the National University. Maryland. Nasir Uddin said that exams can be taken within a week or two of the opening of the educational institution. We have all the preparations. But if the government makes any other decision, it is a different matter. He commented that it would not be correct to give an automatic pass at this educational level.

The National University fourth-year exam was supposed to end in March. But on March 16 of this year, the educational institution was closed. Although most of the subjects were tested, two to five subjects were trapped due to the Corona epidemic. Since then, the students have been waiting for the exam.

So 9-10 months have passed. In this situation, anxiety and frustration increase among many. Students say that the certificate will not be issued until the end of the fourth year. And if the certificate does not match, you will not participate in the proof of work.

Meanwhile, students have recently organized a human chain in front of the main gate of the National University office in Gazipur demanding an automatic pass. This requirement was made by BA (Honors) and senior candidates from different colleges to autopass based on exam results.

It is known that the course of overcoming the degree of the National University, second year and third year, final of Master’s degree was going to take place between the month of April. But these tests were postponed due to a corona infection. The course to pass the degree was supposed to have 34 exams each year.
