When the train stopped at Kakina Station in Kaliganj, the girl got off the train to fetch water. He couldn’t get up when the train left at that time. However, at the Kakina station, a boy identified himself as Rocky and introduced himself as a resident of Kaunia and promised to take him home in an autorickshaw. After that, the young man took the girl to Kaunia and took her to a room isolated from an irrigation pump in the middle of the night.

When she was released on Wednesday, she took refuge in the home of a town policeman with the help of the locals.

On Thursday night (October 8), local matabbars sat in a meeting on the issue, identified the rapists, and collected large sums of money and fines. However, instead of paying the fine to the teenager, the rapist threatened her and sent her 2,000 rupees as travel expenses.

On Friday (October 9) at noon, the girl took refuge in the Kaliganj Press Club through the locals and the journalists reported to the police. After that, the Kaliganj police launched a preliminary investigation into the information provided about the rape. Around 9 o’clock at night, he filed a case against 4 people.

Farhad Hossain, police officer in charge of Kaliganj (OC Investigation), said a case was registered after a preliminary investigation into the information provided by the teenager. One of the accused has been arrested.
