Less than a week after the rape of a girl in Mahamaya, Chagalnaiya, Feni, a four-year-old boy fell victim to his uncle’s lust in the same area. The defendant was arrested around 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
It was learned that his uncle Emon Farooq Badsha (20) raped his four-year-old niece by closing the door of the house on October 5 around 2 in the afternoon when the boy’s mother went to the pond to bathe. After bathing in the pool, the door of the house was closed and the king opened the door and went out. The mother became suspicious when she entered the house and saw her daughter with her pants inside out. When the boy was questioned, the boy said that his uncle Badsha had hurt him.
That day, the boy’s expatriate parents and relatives did not disclose the incident to cover up. Although the girl was injured in the rape incident, they tried to treat her at home without disclosing it. When the boy’s condition deteriorated to one stage, he was first taken to the Chagalnaiya Upazila Health Complex for treatment and the doctor on duty sent the boy to Feni Sadar Hospital. After the girl’s medical examination was completed at the hospital, the incident of the girl’s rape came to light. The matter then came to the attention of the administration.
When the boy’s mother filed a rape case Friday night, police arrested rapist Md. Emon Farooq Badsha from the Banshpara area of the township. The deceased was identified as Rabiul Haque from the village of Uttar Yashpur under Emon upazila.
Chagalnaiya Police Station OC Mezbah Uddin Ahmed confirmed the arrest of his uncle Emon Farooq Badshah on rape charges.
