Health Minister Zahid Malek has stated that the people of this country have received the same treatment that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, received from Corona.
He made the claim at a function at a hotel in the capital on Thursday.
Speaking as a keynote guest at the ‘2019 Minister of Health Award’, Minister Corona praised the work of the country’s doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers dedicated to patient care. The Health Minister added that the people of this country have received the same treatment that United States President Donald Trump received from Corona. President Trump has received corrective measures. The people of this country have also received corrective treatment for corona treatment.
He said that the people of Bangladesh are used to seeing the waves of Padma Meghna Jamuna and the Bay of Bengal. The people of this country are not afraid of any wave. Zahid Malek also commented that people are not afraid of the second wave of Corona.
The minister highlighted what the government has done in the last seven months to deal with Corona. He said district-level committees have been formed across the country since the beginning of the Corona epidemic. So far, tests are being carried out in a total of 109 labs, around four lakh of Corona patients have taken telemedicine services, and around 40 lakh of people have received health advice over the phone.
The general director of the Department of Health (DG) Abul Basar Mohammad Khurshid Alam presided over the ceremony, among others, the secretary of the Department of Health spoke. Abdul Mannan, Secretary of Health Education Ali Noor.
Upazila, district hospitals, medical schools and 50 specialized hospitals across the country were recognized and commemorated as the best institutions.
