Demonstrations continue in the MC College dormitory in Sylhet and across the country protesting the rape and torture of women in Begumganj, Noakhali. Rallies, mass demonstrations and human chains took place on Wednesday in at least 23 districts, including Dhaka.
On the third day, people from various social, cultural and political organizations, as well as students of various classes and professions, including ordinary students, took to the streets and demanded exemplary punishment for rapists.
The environmental organization Green Voice has carried out a human chain program in Panchagarh. A protest rally under the banner of ordinary students was held in Thakurgaon. People, including students, joined the human chain and the assembly at Nageshwari in Kurigram.
Demonstrations and rallies were held across the country at the initiative of the Bangladesh Students’ Union, Gaibandha District Parliament to protest the torture, rape and murder of women and police obstruction of rape processions.

The defendants demonstrated in Sherpur wearing black masks. The rally was jointly organized by the Janudyog Sherpur Committee, Bangladesh Mahila Parishad and the RDS Rural Development Agency.
Sirajganj Kaler Kantha Shubhsangha has organized a human chain. People of various classes and professions, including all members of the Shubhsangha Sirajganj district branch, joined the program organized in front of the city’s press club, ignoring the heavy rains. Several organizations including the Sammilita Sangskritik Jote district, Bangladesh Gram Theater, Prasoon Theater and BSD expressed their solidarity with the program.

In Faridganj, Chandpur, separate human chain and protest rallies have been held. People of different ages, including women and children, participated in one of them, along with journalists.
