At least three people were killed and 12 others injured when a passenger bus lost control and fell into a ditch in Islampur in Brahmanbaria’s Vijayanagar upazila on the Dhaka-Sylhet road. The deceased were identified as Ashraful Islam, 35, son of Nazrul Islam from Agangar village in Bancharampur upazila, Abdullah, 55, son of Sundar Ali from Ranger Gao area of Habiganj district and Al Amin, 40 .
At least 12 other passengers were injured in the accident.
