Mumin Khan said: ‘I got into this situation because Saudi Airlines officials did not provide the correct information. I am an uneducated person, you could explain it to us. But then they didn’t say anything. We both have valid visas, but the situation now, when we get the ticket again, is the biggest crisis now. ‘

The couple live in the Abaha province of Saudi Arabia. They both work there as domestic servants. They returned to the country on February 1 before the corona virus outbreak. He was scheduled to return to Saudi Arabia in April on a three-month vacation. But by then international flights with Saudi Arabia had stopped.

Like other expats, they spend their days anxiously. The couple finally dreamed of returning to Saudi Arabia on September 15 when they were allowed to start international flights. After a long wait, they got tickets on October 5. But her trip to Saudi Arabia was mired in a confusion of information.

Mumin Khan said he came straight from the airport to the airline’s office and told them to wait. When everyone has finished handing out the tickets, maybe they can call in the evening. I am waiting now.
