Two students have been ripped off a human anti-rape chain in front of the Fatulla launch ghat in Narayanganj. It has been alleged that people from the ghat authorities were involved in the incident by holding the vehicle in front of the launch ghat.

The injured are Milon, a student at Dhaka T&T College and Masum, a student at Bandar Kadam Rasool College.
The students filed a complaint at the police station Tuesday afternoon. After receiving the news, the police and journalists came to rescue the injured.

Witnesses said hundreds of students participated in a human chain organized under the banner of students from all walks of life in Fatullah on Tuesday (October 8) to demand justice for the rape and murder of women and children across the country. . Samiun Sinha and Imran Hossain Shuvo, BCL district co-secretaries, expressed their solidarity there. Obaidullah, president of the Fatullah Press Club, Abdur Rahim, general secretary and Jahangir Dalim from Jugantar Swajan Samabesh also spoke.

Meanwhile, the students requested not to park their vehicles in front of Fatulla’s launch during the human chain. The ghat authorities have been told that this could lead to traffic jams. When the discussion broke out at that time, Munna Bahini, guarding the ghat, attacked Nihad, Hridoy, Tanvir and hundreds of their followers and took away two students named Milon and Masum.

He then struck Milon with a hammer and broke both of Masum’s legs. At that time, the students ran to the police station just 300 meters from the scene and reported.

Shubh, the BCL district leader who participated in the human chain, said: “At one stage of the discussion, I went and appeared.” At that moment, the attackers slapped two students. When I tried to fix it, they also attacked me and took both of them away.

He complained that he went to the police station and asked them to rescue the two students who had been quickly picked up. But the police came to the scene too late. The students were beaten with hammers during that time. If I had arrived on time, I might not have been beaten up so much.

The Fatullah OC Aslam Hossain model police station said police rushed to the scene and controlled the situation. Currently the situation is normal. Appropriate measures will be taken in this regard.
