Police arrested two people, including a woman, accused of raping and assisting in a rare rape in Dinajpur. A case has been filed in this regard. Police raided the home Monday night and arrested them at their homes.

The detainees are Liton Hossain, 30, son of Budu Mohammad from Munsipara in Palashbari UP and Mosa, daughter of Sumon from Ranipukur village. Shanu (24). Another defendant in the incident, Belal Hossain of Katiapara, son Mostafa alias Dhalu (28) is on the run.

According to the statement presented at the Biral police station, Mosa was lured to Dhaka on October 3 at around 2 pm by showing and seducing various people, including a well-paid job. Shanu handed over the sixth grader to Liton Hossain and Mostafa. Later, with the direct and indirect help of Shanu, Liton and Mostafa forcibly took him to Jibanmahal Park in the Chakkanchan area and raped him in a room against the victim’s will. The next day, the victim was taken to an unidentified house in Bypile, Dhaka and raped again.

Meanwhile, the victim’s family could not find the schoolgirl and learned that people in the area had seen Shanu talking to the victim at night. When Shanu was questioned at the time, she confessed to turning the victim over to the two. The victim then returned home on the night of October 4 via mobile phone and told the family about the matter. After the victim’s initial treatment, the victim’s father filed a case against the three on Monday night pursuant to section 8/9 (3) / 30 of the Violence Against Women and Children Prevention Act. Children 2000 (2003 Amendment). After filing the case, the police arrested two defendants.

Biral Police Inspector (investigation) Abdul Quader said the case is under investigation. The victim’s medical examination has been completed at the M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital in Dinajpur. Two people have been arrested in the incident and handed over to court. Attempts are being made to arrest Mostafa, another defendant in the case.
