Dhaka: The suspended HSC and equivalent tests can be announced on Wednesday or Thursday, the Education Ministry said.
An official from the Education Ministry said the prime minister could give instructions on the matter at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday (October 8).
During an online zoom meeting on September 30, Education Minister Dipu Moni, while exchanging views with education journalists, said that an announcement could be made about the HSC exams, including the plans and dates, between Monday and Tuesday of this week.
On that day, the Minister of Education said: “I will be able to make an announcement (about the HSC exam) between Monday and Tuesday of next week with a plan and a date.”
However, the Education Ministry did not make any announcements until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
An official from the Education Ministry told Bangladesh late Wednesday that no final decision has been made so far. The prime minister can give any instructions at Wednesday’s cabinet meeting. Then you can know.
Although the SSC exams were held in early April of each year, the exams were unable to start this year due to the global epidemic of the corona virus.
