At the beginning of October 4, all the documents of the case reached the High Court for the approval of the death sentence of 8 defendants, including Minni.

The lawyers said that the approval of the Superior Court was required for the execution of the sentence when the court convicted the defendant in a criminal case. Therefore, the competent judicial court sent all the documents of the case to the High Court in accordance with article 374 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. What is known as Death Reference. After receiving the documents, the Death Reference Section of the Superior Court reviewed and prepared the paper book of the case. However, in some cases, the paper book is prepared as a priority under the direction of the Chief Justice.

On September 30, Barguna District Judge and Sessions. Ashaduzzaman announced the verdict in the case.

The court sentenced 7 of the 10 adults sentenced to death. In addition, he also fined the defendants 50,000 rupees. The remaining 4 were released.
