University student Ali Hossain has been accused of raping a ninth-grader in Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj.

The incident took place in the Dharabashail village of upazila on Saturday. The victim’s father has filed a complaint with the Kotalipara Police Station.
The two young men are Ali Hossain, son of Mohsin Hawlader Khanur from Purnabarti village, and Ali Hossain, student at Dhaka University, and Masud Hawlader, son of Ibrahim Hawlader Thanda from the same village.
The schoolgirl, who was the victim of the rape, said she went to the local Chowdhury market to buy a pen at 9 a.m. Saturday after privately reading from Medhabikash Digital School teacher Sohag. At that point Ali Hossain and Masud Hawladar scared me and took me to the cold fish enclosure of Ibrahim Hawladar in Dharabashail village.

Ali Hossain’s father, Mohsin Hawladar Khanu, said: “My son has been charged with conspiracy.”
Kotalipara Police Station OC Sheikh Lutfar Rahman said: “I have received the complaint.” Action will be taken after the investigation.
