Alam Kibria Pasha, a young man, has made a name for himself in the Guinness Book of World Records by creating the most 558 categories in the world. Tears welled up in Kibria’s eyes when she received a thank you letter from the Guinness Book of World Records on Sunday.

The home of the young IT specialist Kibria Pasha is located in the Gazirkandi village of the Krishnanagar union in Nabinagar upazila of Brahmanbaria. His father Iron Mollah (Hiron) is a farmer and his mother Khadija Begum is a homemaker. Kibria Pasha is the sixth of seven siblings. Kibria Pasha is currently studying honors in the Department of Philosophy at Brahmanbaria Government College.

“My website has the highest category in the world,” Kibria Pasha told Kaler Kanth today. Five thousand 56 categories have been added to this site. Once you enter the site, you can easily see the map of 64 districts of Bangladesh. If you click on any district according to the map, you will get the necessary information, including the names of all the upazilas, unions, and villages in that district. So far I have included the names of 6,000 towns. But the village information is still being updated. Anyone can go to the site and update their own village information. These arrangements have also been made on the site.

It is known that Kibria Pasha passed Upper Secondary from Birgaon School and College in Nabinagar Upazila in 2016. She then went to Dhaka to train for admission to university.

In addition to coaching, he spent some time learning web development at an IT academy. However, Kibria wasted no time sleeping at home during the coronavirus and focused on creating a website called ‘My Village’. At the time, Kibria’s main plan was to bring the necessary information and phone numbers to an address, including the names of 6,000 villages in Bangladesh. After that, Kibria started building the largest category website. Kibria spends 10-12 hours a day creating websites for several consecutive months.

Kibria said: “I bought the website domain and did the design and development work myself. No one in the family knew what he did or did at home all day. Because no one in my family had much of an idea about information technology. I was at home the whole time with the coronavirus. However, without wasting time sitting at home, I have paid attention to the website work. In doing so, I had to gather information from various Facebook groups, government websites, and Google and Wikipedia.

“I applied for the Guinness Book of World Records on September 20 for five US dollars after creating the website,” Kibria said. In that app, it was written to recognize the world’s top-rated website. The Guinness Book of World Records finally recognized my site after verifying my application. I received your credentials on Sunday (October 4).

Kibria said more work is now being done on the security aspect of the website. But when everyone needs to enrich themselves with diverse information from the website I have created, then I will consider myself successful.

Previously, Perth Chandra Dev, son of the late Jagadish Chandra Dev from the village of Fandauk in Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria, made a name for himself in the Guinness Book of World Records by making the world’s longest chain with a safety pin. The Guinness Book of World Records recognizes that the chain measures 2,401.63 meters or 7,080 feet 0.2 inches, as the largest chain in the world. The letter from the Guinness Book of World Records arrived in Perth on September 17.
