The UNO convoy was attacked after a raid on an illegal arena mahal in Sherpur, Bogra. The incident took place in the Baraitali Naldangi area of ​​the Khanpur upazila union around 7:15 pm on Saturday. Two people, including ONE, were injured. The UN alleges that the attack was carried out by mercenaries of the sand pirates. Police arrested six people until the latest news of the incident. The injured were identified as Ujjal Mohant, office assistant to the Deputy Commissioner of Upazila (Lands) and Munjurul Haque, night watchman. They have been admitted to the local Upazila Health Complex. UNO’s vehicle was also vandalized.

But since no one was found there, the sand mining equipment was being opened illegally. At this moment the mercenaries of the sand miners gathered and surrounded them. Get up at the same time. They even got excited and wrecked the car. At that time, the two members who accompanied him in the operation tried to arrest him and were severely beaten and injured. The attackers later fled after additional police arrived at the scene.

Sherpur Police Inspector (Investigation) SM Abul Kalam Azad said he went to the scene with additional police officers as soon as he received the news. At the same time, he rescued all members of the operation including UNO. In addition, six people have been arrested for being involved in the incident. They are being investigated. The operation is underway to catch the attackers.
