Within hours of the announcement that US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump had contracted the coronavirus, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished them well. Not only that, Modi has shared his tweets calling Trump a friend.
Narendra Modi tweeted on Friday (October 2) around 11:15 pm. In the caption, it read: “I wish my friends Donald Trump and Melania Trump a speedy recovery.”
Earlier, Donald Trump himself announced in a tweet that he and first lady Melania Trump had contracted the corona virus. Previously, they moved into quarantine after one of their closest associates contracted the corona virus.
“We are already in quarantine,” Trump tweeted. Soon we will begin the medical process to cure the infection. And I hope we win Corona together soon. ‘
In a previous tweet, Trump said they both went into quarantine after 31-year-old Hope Hicks tested positive for the corona virus.
Hope Hicks is an advisor to Donald Trump. She had contact with Trump. That means he is Trump’s closest ally. Trump also said Hope Hicks remains positive for the coronavirus.
