The NID card and photo were given to the UP member in the hope of a house. Later, the housewife became bed partner of the monopoly member of UP with the promise of getting that house. But even then she didn’t get a house and filed a rape case against the UP member.
A case has been brought against Mojibur Rahman, a member of the 4th district of Tonki Union, dependent on the Bangra Bazar police station in Muradnagar Upazila de Comilla, for such allegations. The issue has already gone viral through social media.
The court ordered Comilla PBI to take legal action to investigate the incident. The file reached the PBI Comilla office from the court on Thursday.
According to the complaint and local sources, the wife of a CNG driver from Tonki village under Bangra Bazar police station in Muradnagar upazila district requested a house from Mojibur Rahman, a local UP member from District 4. Mojibur Rahman , a UP member, began visiting the housewife’s home after taking her picture and her National Identity Card (NID) with the promise of a house from the Prime Minister’s Aid Fund.
At one point, when the housewife did not agree to offer her a physical relationship, Mojibur Rahman raped her with various tricks, including the temptation to give her a home. But the housewife continued to pressure the UP member because she did not get a house assigned by the government.
The last disaster occurred on September 10. The accused UP member had sex with the housewife again. When the housewife tried to rape her, people from the area came to rescue her and admitted her to the Upazila Health Complex. The UP member fled at the time.
The housewife said: “When I recovered and went to the police station two days after the incident, the police officer on duty advised me to file a complaint in court without accepting the case.” On September 14, the court ordered Comilla PBI to investigate the incident and take the necessary legal action. But research at the field level has yet to begin.
However, UP member Mojibur Rahman denied the allegations against him, saying that a vested interest group in the area had conspired against him and brought a false case against the housewife. I am not involved in all these incidents. The conspirators have filed four lawsuits against me.
SI Shamim Mia, the investigating officer on the case, said: “I have received accusations of rape from the court.” You will be examined on the spot along with a medical examination and witness testimony will be taken. If the truth of the incident is discovered, legal action will be taken against the accused.
On Thursday, Bangra Bazar OC Kamruzzaman Talukder Police Station said: “I don’t know about this. No one came to me to file such a complaint. If someone complained, legal action would have been taken subject to investigation.
