The show has seemed a bit out of focus in recent episodes, with the commission overseeing the event.
It is in this context that the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) says it will soon introduce new rules for conducting events in a disciplined manner. For the two remaining debates to proceed peacefully.
The CPD, the United States’ nonpartisan debate committee, has been organizing presidential debates since 1986. The CPD says it is now clear from Tuesday’s debate that some additional steps must be taken to manage the remaining debates in a more orderly manner.
The next debate between Trump and Biden will take place on October 15 in Miami, Florida. Earlier in the next 48 hours, the organizing committee will establish new guidelines and rules for the debate, CBS News reported.
Among these rules, the microphone system turned off has been placed first. Political parties will be informed of all new rules. However, they do not have the opportunity to argue.
Trump’s campaign camp has already protested the organizing committee’s decision. The candidates were able to freely exchange ideas during Tuesday’s debate, they said.
