The ‘A’ level, ‘O’ level exam begins on October 5

The ‘O’ level exam will begin on October 5. These two exams must be completed by October 23rd. 5,200 students are expected to participate in the two exams.

The British Council is conducting the test following the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Bangladesh Department of Health for the prevention of coronavirus infection.

The Ministry of Education has passed the exam since Thursday (October 1) under four conditions. The conditions of the Ministry of Education are:

1) The health standards of the department of health services and the guidelines of the World Health Organization must be strictly followed.

2) No more than 1,600 candidates can be screened at 35 locations across the country every day. In the event of an exam, the distance between each student must be 6 feet.

3) At any time considering the situation, the government can revoke the permission to take the test in the public interest.

4) If a student becomes infected with coronavirus during the test, the British Council will have to take responsibility.

Meanwhile, an appeal petition was filed with the Superior Court requesting the suspension of the examination activities. Attorney Moniruzzaman Lincoln filed the appeal with the court. Later, the Superior Court dismissed it. Following the rejection of the car, the ‘A’ level exam began at 10 am on Thursday.

Previously, the British Council said in a statement on September 23 that the international GCSE, IGCSE, ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level exams for the October-November (2020) session would be held according to the scheduled schedule.

He said there are about 5,200 students in the country who have signed up for the October-November exams in July-August. It is important that you take this test on time. All test centers in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Narayanganj and Khulna will follow the mandatory use of a mask to participate in the test, the physical distance of the examinees, the periodic cleaning of the test center, the hygiene and safety protocols of the British Council.
