Shahnawaz Rifat Sharif was beaten to death in front of Barguna Government College on June 26 last year. The next day, Rifat’s father, Dulal Sharif, filed a murder case against 13 people at the Barguna police station. On September 1 of that year, the police charged 24 people, including Rifat’s wife, Minni, who were killed, and divided them into two categories, adults and minors.
