Chittagong charged in a sensational double murder case. The RAB has arrested Farooq (30). He was arrested in a raid at the head of the paved road from the Akbar Shah police station in the city on Thursday morning. Killer Farooq also told RAB that he had learned the murder technique by watching the Crime Patrol television series.
On August 24, his ‘sister’ Gulnahar Begum was killed for the first time in a heated argument. After seeing the mother’s crime scene, the son Rifat was also killed.

According to RAB, Farooq turned off his mobile phone to avoid arrest after killing Gulnahar Begum and Rifat. Later, he took a job in a garage in Khagrachari through a person who identified himself as helpless. After staying there for a while, he returned to the city and spent the night in different shrines. After that, he returned to Dhaka and got a job in a garage. Farooq recently returned to Chittagong. A team led by Kazi Mohammad Tareq Aziz, the acting commander of the RAB-7 Chandgaon camp company, arrested Farooq from the Pakkar Mata area below the Akbarshah police station in the morning. A foreign pistol, two rounds of ammunition and a knife were recovered from Farooq.
Kazi Mohammad Tareq Aziz, commander of the company in charge of RAB-8’s Chandgaon field, said that Gulnahar Begum, a victim of the murder, had known the Farooq killer for a long time. They used to argue about various topics. Farooq killed Gulnahar Begum at one point due to a fight on the day of the incident. Seeing this incident, Farooq also killed Rifat, the son of Gulnahar Begum.
RAB-6 Captain Lt. Colonel Md. Mashiur Rahman Jewel said it was a shocking murder. Immediately after the murder, RAB launched a shadow investigation. Several raids were also carried out to catch the defendant Farooq. He was arrested in the Akbarshah Pakkar Mata area on Thursday morning.
