In addition, the purchase of 30,000 tonnes of bagged granular urea fertilizer from Kafco from Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) was approved at a cost of Tk 84.63 crore.

At the meeting, BCIC was approved to purchase 25,000 tons of granular urea fertilizer in bulk from Basic Industry Corporation of Saudi Arabia at a cost of Tk 58.98 crore.

Additionally, BCIC was approved to purchase 25,000 tonnes of bulk granular urea fertilizer from FertiGlobe in the UAE at a cost of Tk 57.28 crore.
