Actress Pawel Ghosh has accused Anurag Kashyap, one of Bollywood’s leading film directors, of rape and indecency. Mumbai police have issued a subpoena on behalf of the director in light of his allegations.

Actress Payal Ghosh filed a sexual harassment complaint against the director on September 19. A couple of days later, she filed an FIR against Kashyap at the Versova Police Station on charges of rape and indecency. Mumbai media reported that the director had been summoned for questioning.
Pawel’s lawyer told the media that a case has been brought against Anurag under sections 37, 354, 341 and 342 of the Constitution of India.
It is known that Payal also brought a case against Anurag for drug use. The now popular actress tweeted that she would meet with the Governor of Maharashtra, Bhagat Singh Koshiari, and discuss his allegations against Anurag.
The actress was recently called to the Versova Police Station in Mumbai. Police advised Payal to undergo a medical examination at Cooper Hospital last Friday.
