Today our family is in misery after losing our brother to natural causes. My brother had a necklace. He was my courage and my confidence. Even then we will never get our brother back. But if all murderers, including Minni, receive exemplary punishment, we will achieve some peace. The soul of the brother will also have peace. I want the maximum punishment for my brother’s murderers before the honorable court.

Rifat’s father, Abdul Halim Dulal Sharif, the plaintiff in the case, said: “We have confidence in the judiciary of the country.” The court should punish those involved in Rifat’s murder in such a way that we get relief. May the child’s soul sleep in peace.

Rifat’s mother, Daisy Akhter, said: ‘I want all the defendants hanged. These heinous murders should never happen again. No other mother’s chest like mine should be empty.

Meanwhile, Ayesha Siddique Minni’s lawyer, Mahbubul Bari, told Jugantar: “I firmly believe that Minni will be acquitted in the court’s verdict.” Minni did everything she could to save her husband Rifat Sharif that day. Not only that, the injured Rifat Sharif was taken to the hospital by rickshaw. The video of this incident is viral.

On June 26 last year, Nayan Bond and her friends shot and killed Rifat Sharif with a sharp knife in the street in front of Barguna Government College. Rifat Sharif’s father, Abdul Halim Dulal Sharif, filed a case with the Barguna Police Station. 12 people were charged in the case. The main defendant is Nayan Bond. On July 8, the plaintiff went to the Barguna police station to charge Minni in the case. Ayesha Siddique Minni was arrested on July 17.

On July 19, Minni pleaded guilty in magistrates court and testified under section 164. Minni’s father, Mozammel Haque, filed a request for bail in the High Court on July 30 after the court judge Barguna district denied him bail. Ayesha Siddique Minni was released on bail by the Superior Court on August 29. The prosecution appealed to the Court of the Supreme Court Judges Chamber requesting the cancellation of Minni’s bail. The courtroom judge confirmed the order of the Superior Court of September 2. Minni is out on bail.
