Dhaka Second Assistant Assistant Judge. Ashiquzzaman approved the order Tuesday after hearing from plaintiffs on the admissibility of the case.

BNP leaders Masud Ahmed Talukder and Omar Farooq Farooqui, the plaintiff’s lawyers, heard the case in court.

The court found that the case was inadmissible because the drama “Compensation” was based on the acquittal history of those involved in the murder of Bangabandhu.

The other defendants in the case are playwright Mannan Hira, actor Saju Khadem, RTV president Morshed Alam, MP, and the secretary of the Ministry of Information.

Abu Saleh, a rhymer, filed the case on Monday seeking a ban on the drama, claiming that the story had been distorted in the drama produced by the Bangabandhu Cultural Alliance.

The plaintiff’s lawyers said at the hearing that Ziaur Rahman was under no state responsibility at the time of the promulgation of the Compensation Ordinance on October 26, 1986. He came to power through the revolution of the sepoy masses. The people put him in power.

They said that in the play, Zia, the most popular political figure among the new generation, has been shortened by Zia and the BNP by opponents, including Tarana Halim and Mannan Hira. All those implicated in the assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on August 15, 1975 were members of the Awami League cabinet. Therefore, Zia is not responsible for the murder of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. In the post-independence period, Sheikh was assassinated by leaders of the Awami League in power-sharing, looting, and power struggles.

At the end of the hearing, when the judge dismissed the case without accepting it, the plaintiffs began to shout ‘Shaim Shaim’ and left the courtroom in procession.

When asked about this, state attorney Khandaker Abdul Mannan told bdnews24.com:

The compensation drama also highlights behind-the-scenes and power-sharing incidents following the murder of the nation’s father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. What was in that ordinance to protect Bangabandhu’s killers and their background was also highlighted.

After Bangabandhu’s assassination on August 15, 1975, the ordinance issued by Khandaker Mushtaq Ahmed to protect the murderers was later modified by Ziaur Rahman.

Tarana Halim introduced the beginning of the 43-minute drama. Saju Khadem, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Chitranayak Riaz and many others have acted in different roles in the play. The play is composed and directed by Mannan Hira.

The BNP has spoken out against him since the drama aired. The party alleges that through the drama ‘Indemnity’, malicious attempts and propaganda have been carried out to deliberately shorten BNP founder Ziaur Rahman.
