There are 56,360 vacancies for assistant teachers in various subjects at MPO registered private educational institutions nationwide. Although the list of these vacant positions has been compiled and finalized through verification and selection, the recruitment process has been stopped due to a court order.

However, an appeal will be filed this week seeking instructions to appoint teachers to the relevant branches of the Supreme Court. This information has been received from the Private Teachers Registration and Certification Authority – NTRCA.

According to the NTRCA, a list of vacancies has been compiled at schools-colleges, madrasas, and MPO (Monthly Payment Order) institutions across the country. The list, compiled online and through Teletalk Mobile, shows that there are 56,360 openings in various approved topics. It was finalized this month after verification and selection by field officials.

According to relevant sources, in 2016 a list of merits was drawn up following the instructions of the court. Policy MPO-2018 was formulated with instructions to recruit registered candidates in accordance with that list. But recently, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court ordered the direct recruitment of the 13 registered candidates.

As the two decisions were different, the list of vacant positions in educational institutions registered by the MPO nationwide was finalized, but the hiring process could not begin. For this reason, NTRCA has decided to appeal again to the Supreme Court.

NTRCA officials said there are six lakh 34,128 people on the list of merits recorded from the first to the fifteenth. Of these, a lakh 821 people are over 35 years old and do not have the opportunity to be recruited. There are another two lakh 8 thousand registered candidates in 35 years. However, many of them have worked directly in various educational institutions. Although many have grown old due to the complexity of the case, they have been deprived of job opportunities. However, there are a large number of candidates waiting to be recruited.

“We have issued a six-point memorandum to publish the vacancy list and begin the recruitment process,” said the leaders of the Teachers Forum, which is awaiting a third public announcement. It was supposed to happen last February, but it hasn’t started yet. As a result, many are past the age of entering work. They demanded to begin the recruitment process by bringing instructions from the court to consider the problems.

When asked about this, NTRCA President Akram Hossain told Jago News on Monday that despite receiving the number of vacancies approved by private educational institutions across the country, it was not possible to initiate the hiring process due to to court instructions.

He further said: “We have decided to appeal again to the court to begin merit recruitment postponing the issue of direct recruitment of the 13 registered candidates.” The appeal will be made this week preparing the necessary documents. He also said that the recruitment process will begin in the third phase after receiving instructions from the court in this regard.
