In Bhola, a woman cut off a rapist’s penis to save herself from rape. Md. Trying to rape. Naeem (35) was rescued in critical condition and admitted for the first time to Char Fashion Upazila Health Complex. As his condition deteriorated, he was sent to Barisal Hospital.
The incident took place around 12pm on Sunday (September 28) in Bahanchar village of Rasulpur Union District 4 at Char Fashion Upazila. Naeem is the son of Azam Ali Sardar from Bahanchar village in Rasulpur Union District 4. Drive a rented motorcycle.
The 28-year-old victim said she was the mother of two children. Her husband fished in the river. Along with her husband’s profession, the housewife makes and sells nakshikantha. Naeem is friends with her husband. I used to come and go to her house on that occasion. Naeem had been proposing to the housewife for three months. The woman repeatedly warned Naeem about the matter.
He said he left the house around 12 p.m. Sunday and went to the bathroom. The house was empty when my husband went fishing in the river. This time, Naeem entered the house and hid under the bed. I got out of the bathroom, closed the bedroom door, and fell asleep. Suddenly Naeem grabbed my face, ripped my clothes off, and tried to rape me. At one point I got into a fight with him.
Unable to find a way to escape the rape, I took a sheet from the box of needle thread by the bed and cut off Naeem’s penis. When Naeem screamed, the locals came running. Later the locals took him to the hospital.
The housewife added that since the incident, Naeem’s family and some local drug addicts have been threatening me in various ways. As a result, my family and I are unsafe.
Shovon Kumar Bashak, an official with the Char Fashion Upazila Health Complex, said Naeem was admitted to the hospital around 3:15 pm on Sunday. Later he received first aid. As his condition deteriorated, he was sent to Barisal Hospital for better treatment.
Emdadul Haque Mithu, a UP member from Rasulpur Union District 4, said that Naeem had tried to abuse some women in the area before. He was fined multiple times for those incidents. Naeem zone marked lustful. The woman’s penis was cut off after he tried to rape her.
Confirming the incident, Shashibhushan Police Officer in Charge (CO) Rafiqul Islam said that the housewife had made a written complaint to the police. The incident is under investigation. Details will be announced later.
