According to RAB officials, the fraudster was arrested on the basis of information provided by the National Security Intelligence Service (NSI).

Rafiuddin, a RAB official, said: “After the Palestinian embassy filed a complaint against Mashum, false passports were made against him in Germany, New Zealand, Croatia, Romania, Italy, Israel, Greece, Malaysia, Canada, Turkey, Cameroon and other countries. Comes. In this context, the close surveillance of the RAB and National Security Intelligence also found evidence of human trafficking in different countries by manufacturing false passports against them.
He said: “A class of unscrupulous intermediaries in Bangladesh, including fish, have long been trafficking human beings abroad in collusion with the international community by showing the temptation of low-income people. Mashum used to make passports from different European countries and sell them for two thousand euros.
“Also, he was making fake visa stickers from different countries and showing fake visas and smuggling millions of rupees.”
The RAB official said Masum used to issue fake passports and visas to Bangladeshis and citizens of other countries.
“He is involved in human trafficking through Nepal, Delhi, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam and Cambodia.”
He said that Masum had smuggled mobile phones from India through tax evasion, as human trafficking stopped during the coronavirus epidemic.
“Several bank papers were found in his possession, containing a good amount of money,” said Rafiuddin, a RAB official.
