Sheikh Hasina: Life is dedicated to the welfare of the people

[ad_1]

September 26 is the birthday of the Prime Minister and President of the Awami League, Sheikh Hasina. He was born on this day in 1948. He has had to keep going, overcoming obstacles and adversities. With indomitable morale, courage and prudence, lead a great party like Country and Awami League and keep going. The daughter of the father of the nation has now become the guardian of the nation. In a day or a few days or a year or a few years he has not reached the position he occupies today. Tile tile has created this current position.

India was divided on August 14, 1947. Pakistan and India were born as two separate states. That division was based on biracialism. One country for Hindus, another for Muslims. It was thought that in this way people would be better, happier and the welfare of the general population will be. Not really. It makes no sense to argue again that the consequences of dividing the country on the basis of religion were not good. Just as the status of the Muslims remained in Pakistan, so did India for the Hindus. My discussion today is not about that. Just a month and a half after the establishment of Pakistan, a daughter was born on September 26 in the village of Tungipara in Gopalganj of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Fazilatun Nesha Mujib. She is Sheikh Hasina, the ‘Hashumani’ loved by her parents. He is now the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the Chairman of the Awami League, the largest and oldest political party in the country.

Sheikh Hasina’s father, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was a man of politics from head to toe. He is the architect of the independent state of Bangladesh, the father of the nation. Before that, the people of the country lovingly gave him the title of ‘Bangabandhu’. Sheikh Mujib’s policy began with the movement for the establishment of the state of Pakistan. In time, he led the movement to divide Pakistan and establish Bangladesh. A man is directly involved with the birth and death of a country.

Sheikh Mujib was a brave man. The vow of his life was to put a smile on the face of a sad person. He sacrificed his life for the happiness of the people. The prison, the gallows, nothing could distract him from his goal. It is natural for its value to flow in your blood.

Sheikh Hasina was born into a family of politicians. Politics is mixed in his blood. His father married a nuclear scientist to keep him out of the unsafe, uncertain, and turbulent path of politics. But what a cruel irony of fate, the patriarchal wish to stay away from politics was not fulfilled. Instead, the girl had to get involved in politics, her father’s dream of ‘putting a smile on the face of a sad person’ was a difficult responsibility, she had to take the risky job on her shoulders.

Two

Sheikh Hasina was born in a remote village in Bangladesh. He himself described his birth and the place of his birth as follows:

I was born in the town of Tungipara in the afternoon of the golden sun of Ashwin. In the tamale bushes, Baichi collects water lilies and hyacinths, builds garlands, sprinkles dust, and plays in the rain.

These few emotional lines are enough to understand the background of Sheikh Hasina’s mind formation. The generosity and immensity of his mind was obtained from the generosity of the Bengal nature. He obtained love and affection for Bengal and the Bengalis from the depths of Bengal. Its authenticity is also natural in Bengal.

Although he spent his childhood in Gopalganj, Sheikh Hasina spent his education mainly in Dhaka city. The sixties of the last century were an invaluable period for the Bengali nation. The 1960s were a brilliant time for Bengalis to seek self-realization and identity. Not only was there a public protest against the Ayub military government, but the necessary elements for the development of the Bengali nation were also being brewed through various events. It was at this time that secular nationalist ideas gained momentum. Ayub-Monaim’s ploy against Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was virtually increasing his popularity and he was becoming the undisputed leader of the Bengali nation.

The glorious period of the student movement was also the sixties. As a school, college, and university student, Sheikh Hasina was also an active fighter writing the glorious news of that time. She was vocal in the procession-motto. He was elected vice president of the university student parliament and showed his leadership qualities. As an alumnus of the Chhatra League, he not only took politics lessons, his family was the largest school of politics. Father Sheikh Mujib was the eternal chief. He did not know how to bow to injustice. No need to bow your head even after being burned to death!

This advanced head, indomitable courage put the crown of a single national leader around the neck of Sheikh Mujib. Sheikh Mujib’s courage was also passed on to his wife Fazilatun Nesha. So during her husband’s incarceration, she not only took the helm of the family, but was also the guardian of the largest family in the Awami League. Daughter Sheikh Hasina has witnessed this twin parenting journey. She may not have thought of filling her father’s vacancy then, but Sheikh Hasina was never a man away from politics. He was a man close to politics. He has closely followed the journey of the rise of the state of Bangladesh and has been involved to some extent.

Three

While her father was in jail, Sheikh Hasina married M Wazed Miah. So he doesn’t seem to have thought of actively participating in politics. Even Bangabandhu may not have wanted his beloved eldest daughter to be on the path of an uncertain life like him. But on August 15, 1975, a group of assassins killed Bangabandhu and his family and turned all accounts of Bangladeshi politics upside down. Bangabandhu and later four national leaders were assassinated inside the jail as part of a far-reaching plan. The goal was to return Bangladesh to the Pakistani fold, to ensure that the Awami League could never rise again. On August 15, Sheikh Hasina and her younger sister, Sheikh Rehana, were not in the country. If they had, the killers may not have kept them alive. Perhaps this is a prominent provision from history. My father’s worthy daughters survived to bring the murderers to justice.

The August 15 massacre baffled the Awami League. So the Awami League could no longer turn around, the Awami League could not remain as a united force as it faced various conspiracies on and off.

Upon returning to the country on May 16, 1981, Sheikh Hasina took command of the Awami League. He crossed paths with a friend and brought the Awami League back to power in 1996, after 21 long years. In a word, it makes the impossible possible. After the tragic assassination of 1975, the Awami League will return to power; it was unthinkable even for many political experts. Many have tried to keep the Awami League out of power. Even within the group there was “horror of the domestic enemy.” It also disappointed those who named Sheikh Hasina party chairperson and conspired to break the jackfruit on her head. In a very short time she was able to convince everyone that she was the daughter of Sheikh Mujib, she could not be a puppet in the hands of anyone.

Sheikh Hasina took over the Awami League when he was only 34 years old. Today he is 63 years old. Now he is a mature man in all respects. Not only has he been the president of the Awami League for a long time, but he has also established a long record as head of government. This time he serves as Prime Minister for three consecutive terms. At the end of this period, you will complete 20 years of your first ministry. In a few countries, dictators have a long history of being in power, but Sheikh Hasina will be a shining exception in the elected democratic system.

This long journey of Sheikh Hasina’s political life was not a flowerbed. Step by step, danger and the risk of death pursued him. Attempts have been made to assassinate him on several occasions. He is moving forward by making life and death a servant. Today he is internationally recognized as a successful head of government. He has been awarded numerous prestigious medals and awards. He has also received recognition for having dedicated his life to the well-being of people.

He is now the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and a world leader. Many heads of government are adamant in their praise. Under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh is on the path of progress and prosperity. Bangladesh has gained a different status in the World Assembly.

Sheikh Hasina has demonstrated the ability to make bold, forward-looking and far-reaching decisions in various crises across the nation. Only Sheikh Hasina has been able to carry out the trial and verdict of the Bangabandhu assassination and carry forward the trial of war criminals facing ever hostile political opponents like BNP-Jamaat. When everyone doesn’t see a good chance of overcoming the crisis, they find a way out. Some people think that relying too much on Sheikh Hasina is not a good sign. Sheikh Hasina is not a forced leader. He has earned the trust, security and love of the people of the country. His pure patriotism has committed him to a debt of deep love to the people. Sheikh Hasina is going to fulfill the Bangladeshi dream that Bangabandhu dreamed of. Today it can be said that Sheikh Hasina is the leader worthy of fulfilling the dream of Bangladesh. Bangabandhu’s Bangladesh is being embodied in him.

Conspiracies against Bangladesh and Sheikh Hasina are taking place from within and outside the country. However, Sheikh Hasina has the patience and courage to overcome all obstacles. Wherever there is human misery, Sheikh Hasina’s humanitarian vision spreads. The humanity that he has demonstrated by promising to share his food with 1.2 million people who have fled the persecution of Myanmar’s ruling class has shaken the conscience of the world. Sheikh Hasina is a man who can risk his life for others without hesitation. You have the leadership qualities to move forward in the face of hundreds of adversities. In her long political career, Sheikh Hasina has been able to show that what she can do, no one else can. Work tirelessly. And the person doing the work may also make some mistakes. The wrong people do it. However, Sheikh Hasina did not make any political mistakes that did not deviate her from the goal of fulfilling her dream.

Not that some trouble hasn’t been created within the Awami League, as it has been in power for a long time. However, the details of the party and government are not out of Sheikh Hasina’s view. So action has been taken against those in the party who are involved in injustice. Sheikh Hasina’s popularity will reach a new level if the purge campaign within the party is strictly carried out, if successful. Sheikh Hasina’s leadership has put Bangladesh in front of a new possibility. This journey of progress and prosperity will continue, this is the expectation of the people.

Your day begins with morning prayers. He is a believer and devotee. But don’t be swayed by intolerance. He has risen above the narrow and worked tirelessly to establish a liberal and welfare state. He is hardworking and brave. He works about 18 hours a day. Fatigue doesn’t wear you out. Bangabandhu’s life and struggle inspired and inspired him. Who has dedicated his life to the well-being of people, who has repeatedly said frankly that it has nothing to do with personal wishes, I wish you a happy birthday and wish you good health and long life.
