Dhaka: The Minister of Education, Dipu Moni, will announce whether the ongoing vacation of the country’s educational institutions will be extended due to the global coronavirus epidemic, postponed HSC exams and the coronary education system.
An official from the Ministry of Education said on Sunday (September 28) that the Minister of Education may announce the extension of vacations in educational institutions at a press conference on September 30 on the general situation in the country.
And what can be done with the HSC exam will also be known in the announcement of the Minister of Education.
Mohammad Abul Khair, a public relations officer for the education ministry, said the education minister would make an announcement at a press conference about the coronation education system.
Due to the epidemic, the license of the educational institution has been extended from September 1 to October 3.
Classes have been broadcast on television at the primary and secondary levels since March 18 due to the closure of educational institutions due to the corona virus. And educational institutions are running online classes at the upper and upper secondary education levels.
Due to the epidemic, this year the final exam for primary education and ibtedayi was canceled and the annual exam will be evaluated in schools. The eighth JSC-JDC exam has also been canceled. The fifth and eighth final exams were scheduled for November. The Inter-Board of Education met at the JSC exam and proposed to test students according to a guideline.
Although the HSC exam was scheduled to begin on April 1, it has been postponed due to the crown. The Intereducativa Board could not decide on the HSC exam.
The Education Ministry official said there was no alternative to the HSC exam. Because, the subject of higher education, including admission to college, depends on the HSC exam. Therefore, a decision will be made from the top level of government.
After the nation’s first crown patient was identified on March 8 of this year, following a seven-day general holiday from March 26 to May 30, limited office space was opened on May 31 and transportation public from June 1.
After the release of this year’s SSC exam results, the online admissions process also started from August 9, although it was late in class XI due to corona. Some universities have introduced a limited range of online classes in higher education. Still, the stagnation of the education system has decreased.
