A student from the Department of Islamic Studies at Dhaka University brought a case against Hasan Al Mamun, the coordinator of the Bangladesh Student Rights Council, alleging rape. Former Dakshur Vice Chairman Nurul Haque also charged Nur in the case as an accessory to rape and named 4 more people as defendants in the case. However, Nurul Haque Nur denied the incident.
Leaders and activists at the protest rally said they represented the entire student body in the country and would immediately protest if an incident such as rape occurred anywhere in the country.
Sanjit said that the Chhatra League of Bangladesh represents the student society of Bengal. If any woman other than the freedom fighter is tortured, we will immediately resist whatever policies the perpetrator is making.

He further said that it doesn’t matter what party the people who raped at MC College are from. We first seek justice for the perpetrators of the MC College violation.
