BCL leaders made the announcement at a protest rally at the foot of the Raju sculpture adjacent to the university’s TSC on Sunday demanding justice for the perpetrators of rape in different parts of the country, including the University of Dhaka.

Hosted by the BCL of Dhaka University, the meeting was attended by more than two hundred leaders and workers of different levels of BCL from the university and corridor branches, as well as central leaders.

The central president of the Chhatra League, Al Nahyan Khan Joy, said: “Today my sister is a student at Dhaka University … She appears in front of the media and says that her brothers from her own organization have raped her. My sister appeared on Facebook and threatened to spread the word. After the case, they came to the Dhaka University campus and protested again on behalf of the rapist. What a great challenge! The Chhatra League will not let them go. “

Without spreading any propaganda on Facebook, Joy challenged him to come forward if he had the courage. According to rumors, he became vice president of Daksh. But today it is seen that this playwright Nur has achieved his own interest by fooling everyone. Nuru Ganga has formed a student rights council with the camps, what is the student rights council? You are now watching the Violators’ Rights Council. “

A student from the Department of Islamic Studies at the University of Dhaka filed two cases on September 21 and 23 at the Lalbagh and Kotwali police stations in the capital alleging rape, kidnapping and murder of characters via social media.

A total of six members of the Bangladesh Chhatra Odhikar Parishad, a platform of government job quota reform activists, including former Vice President Daksh Nurul Haque Nur, were indicted there.

Council convener Hasan Al Mamun has become the main defendant in the Lalbagh case and the council’s joint coordinator, Nazmul Hasan Sohag, has become the main defendant in the Kotwali case. Nur, the joint coordinator of the council, is the third defendant in both cases.

Nur denied allegations that he was interested in running in the Dhaka by-elections, saying that the “false case” was brought under the auspices of a senior BCL leader from Dhaka University.

Aside from the case brought by the Dhaka University student, the Chhatra League protest rally also demanded that those responsible for the rape cases at Sylhet MC College, Khagrachhari and Savar be brought to justice. The leaders of the pro-government student organization called for “the promulgation of new laws and the formation of special courts” to try if necessary.

Criticizing the media and civil society, BCL Central President Al Nahyan Khan Joy said: “Our media, the so-called teachers, the civil society who saw the rapist at MC College in Sylhet, repeatedly blamed BCL. There is no group of rapists. Whoever he is, he’s the worst animal, he’s a coward. They must be judged.

“Dr. Kamal Hossain will provide legal help to rapists. People who provide legal aid should be boycotted. I am ashamed to be a law student, or they fought for the independence of Bangladesh. We don’t believe. They also talked about Bangabandhu. This Nuru Ganga, Dr. Kamal Hossain is the enemy of the state. They have no right to stay in this country. Now is the time to boycott them. We declare them unwanted on this campus. “

Addressing BCL leaders and workers, Joy said: “I would like to tell BCL leaders and workers throughout Bangladesh that wherever they find violators, they will hand them over to law enforcement agencies.” Wherever Jamaat-e-Islami is, we will resist them. We boycott all kinds of rapists. Wherever they are, they will be handed over to law enforcement through a massive cleanup. We want to tell law enforcement to arrest Nuru Gang immediately and bring him to justice. “

The writer Bhattacharya, general secretary of the Chhatra League, said: “For the first time in history, they have protested in this Dhaka University on behalf of the rapist. They have started a movement to thwart the rapist’s trial, threatening to confront him on the streets. They call it a conspiracy of the government and the Chhatra League, while the case has been brought by the workers of their own organization. The workers who cooked and fed them in the fighting movement. They raped that student sister. The leaders and activists of the Chhatra League will remain in the streets until the maximum punishment is applied. “

He said: “Rape is a thing of the past, there is no activist in the Bangladesh Chhatra League who dares to look at women in the least. Who was the first to protest the rape of MC College in Sylhet? First of all, the Chhatra League has formed a fierce movement there. Until the rapists are brought to justice, they will continue their fight. “

Sanjit Chandra Das, President of the Dhaka University Chhatra League, said: “When the country’s leader, Sheikh Hasina, is advancing the country through development and empowerment of women, I am seeing this mega series of violations. I wonder when a rape trial will take place, how many rapes occur one after another. I think Nurura wants to blame the Chhatra League of Bangladesh for the planned rapes in different places in order to save herself. “

Addressing Nurul Haque Nur, former vice president of Daksh, Sanjit said: “You are conspiring against me. It says in different places that I am involved in this incident. You are a lunatic, you are mentally deranged. You need psychiatric treatment. If I could sue for the rape of a Dhaka University student, I would consider myself lucky. “

Criticizing the media, Saddam Hussein, BCL Secretary General of Dhaka University, said: You will think about it. The playwright Noor, vice president of Daksur, speaks one by one from time to time. They do not match the words. The request to the media is that all incidents be given equal importance. “

Dhaka University Senate member and BCL leader Tilottam Sikder said at the meeting: “The identity of a rapist is that he is a rapist. It cannot have any social or political identity. A student from Dhaka University has filed a case against rape. Many found it ridiculous. When accusations are made against the Nur, the language of civil protests becomes flexible. Civilians woke up again during the Chhatra League. The civilians at MC College are not looking for rapists, the Chhatra League is looking for them. “

Tanvir Hasan, a former Dakshur member, held a human chain in front of the National Museum with some Dhaka University students at the same time in protest of the alleged rape of a Dhaka University student and the gang rape of a woman disabled from a hill in Khagrachhari. The highest punishment for the rapist was the death penalty demanded of his assembly.
