After repeated expulsions and debates, the veteran politician finally split into two parts. The 28-year-old village forum founded by Kamal Hossain. The three party leaders, former Secretary General Mostafa Mohsin Montu and two former CEOs, Professor Abu Sayeed and lawyer Subrata Chowdhury, announced their positions separately after a prolonged meeting at the National Press Club in Dhaka.

The general secretary of the current convening commission of the Popular Forum. They have expelled four people, including Reza Kibria, and announced the National Council on December 26. He also asked Mantu to form a 201-member conference preparation committee to make the council a success.

In immediate response to the president of the Popular Forum. Kamal Hossain told Ittefaq: ‘Well done. That is good. Completely false. There was no prolonged meeting of the popular forum. Those who have held the meeting are not members of the popular forum. Let’s see what they can do. ‘

And Dr. Reza Kibria told Ittefaq: “I have been fired before. How many times can a person be expelled! Dr. as party chairman. No one else can call a long meeting without the permission of Kamal Hossain and the Secretary. General Now if the people accept you, accept your leadership, then there is nothing to do, it can be called political competition.

He added: “It’s very simple. They withdrew from the party. They are no longer ordinary party members. What happened is fine. The huge burden was removed from the team, Alhamdulillah. ‘

Speaking at a press conference after the extended meeting, Professor Abu Sayeed said that the National Council will be held on December 26 to strengthen the party, grassroots and popular organizations. Party member Jaglul Haider said: “General Secretary Reza Kibria, Central Committee members Mohsin Rashid, AOM Shafiqullah and Mushtaq Ahmed have been expelled from the general membership for violating the discipline and constitution of the organization.” ‘

Subrata Chowdhury said 273 representatives from 52 districts participated in the expanded meeting, which was chaired by Abu Sayeed, former executive chairman of the Popular Forum. Mostafa Mohsin Mantu, Subrata Chowdhury, central leaders Jaglul Haider Afrik, Asaduzzaman, Khan Siddiqur Rahman, Abdur Raihan, Mohiuddin Jahangir, Fazlul Haque Sarkar and MA Matin were present on the main stage of the extended meeting.

At the press conference, Mantu said: “We believe that Kamal Hossain’s memory is being altered.” We have repeatedly told you to call a meeting of the Central Committee and set the date for the conference. I also said in a letter. Then she said: sit down. Then she said, “No, I didn’t say anything like that.” I think maybe he forgot some things. What else is going on with the memory impairment? Also, they have an ominous effect, which is very confusing to you.

When asked if the party had dissolved, Mantu said: “We still hope that the organization will stick together.” When asked if Kamal Hossain is with you, she said: “We must think that she is there.” I urge you from this meeting to avoid the controversial and advance with those who have ties to the land, who are doing politics. If Kamal Hossain does not respond, the council will make the next decision. We will decide on it subject to your opinion in the council. The BNP-led National Unity Front has a popular forum. However, this part of the people’s forum hesitates not to be in that alliance. Regarding the alliance, Mantu said that the unit has not yet been broken. We will decide at the national conference what to do with that unit.
