Narayanganj: A young man named Rakib (21) committed suicide by hanging himself after his girlfriend got married elsewhere in Siddhirganj of Narayanganj.

Rakika’s sister, Rakika, said that my brother (Rakib) had a long relationship with a girl. My brother committed suicide on Friday (September 25) because he couldn’t bear the pain of marrying that girl. Police recovered the body from the scene in the morning and brought it to the autopsy.

Siddhirganj (SI) Police Station Deputy Inspector Kajal Majumder told banglanews that Rakib was initially thought to have committed suicide by hanging himself with a towel around his neck with the ceiling fan hidden at any time of the day or Friday night. (September 28).

Siddhirganj Police Officer in Charge (CO) Kamrul Farooq told banglanews that a letter was found at Rakib’s home. In the letter, Rakib said: ‘Mother, forgive me. Sister, take care of your mother. ‘ The idea is that this suicide happened out of love. Even then we are investigating the matter.

Rakib’s friend, Shaon, said that a girl had had a love affair with Rakib for three or four years. Rakib also told his family about their relationship. But his family did not accept the girl’s relationship with Rakib. Recently, the girl’s parents married her elsewhere. Rakib was emotionally broken by this. Rakib loved that girl very much. Rakib has committed suicide by not being able to get close to his girlfriend.
