BT-NewPolice arrested Mizanur Rahman, the main defendant in the stabbing death of tenth grade student Neela in Savar, Dhaka, along with two accomplices. The knife used in the murder was also recovered at that time. They were arrested in the Rajfulbaria Colonel Bricks Field area around 10pm on Friday (September 25). Savar’s model police inspector (investigation), Saiful Islam, confirmed the arrest.

Mizanur is the son of Abdur Rahman from the Dakshin Para area of ​​Savar District 4. The other two detained defendants are Shakib and Joy. Its details were not known. So far, six people have been arrested in connection with the incident.

Police said a murder case was brought against unknown persons, including Narayan’s father Roy Mizanur Rahman, his father Abdur Rahman and his mother Nazmun Nahar on September 21, a day after Neela’s shocking murder in Savar. The defendant had since escaped. Mizanur’s accomplice, Selim Paloyan, was arrested last Tuesday and Mizanur’s parents on Thursday night. Mizanur and his two accomplices were arrested in a raid on Friday.

By the way, Bakhate Mizanur Rahman blocked the path of Neela Roy and her brother Alok Roy on their way back from the hospital last Sunday night (September 20). He later forcibly snatched Sapphire from his brother, took her to a room in his abandoned house, stabbed her, and fled. Later that night, the doctor on duty confirmed Neela’s death at Savar’s Enam Medical College Hospital.
