Police have recovered the body of a private university student from a house in the Kawla area of Dakshin Khan in the capital. His name is Dilshad Nahar Anchal (19). His hanging body was recovered from his home on Friday morning.
Dakshin Khan Police OC Sikder said at the end of the initial investigation. Shamim Hossain said the student committed suicide by hanging himself due to a dispute with her boyfriend. However, the cause of death can be determined after receiving the autopsy report. An unusual case (UD) has been registered in this incident.
Anchal was a second-year student at the National University of Engineering and Textiles of Savar. He lived with his family in Kawla. His father, Delwar Hossain, is a car rental businessman and his mother is a school teacher.
Anup’s uncle, Kausar Rupak, said that a young man had a love affair with Anchal. Anchal committed suicide at one point after arguing with her boyfriend on a video call.
According to police and family sources, the couple went to see the older sister in the area last Thursday night. Because of this, everyone was busy. Then everyone ate and put their mobile phones on silent mode and fell asleep. However, Anchal woke up at night and spoke to her boyfriend on his mobile phone. Her body was found at her home yesterday morning.
