The Department of Meteorology has warned of heavy to very heavy rains in three parts of the country. They say heavy rains are likely in three parts of the country beginning Saturday. This could lead to a further deterioration of the flood situation.

The weather forecast also said that two rains and floods had hit the northern part of the country at the same time. The flood situation is rapidly deteriorating in several places in the northern region, including Kurigram and Natore.

However, the flood warning and forecasting center said the floods won’t last long. In the next 2-3 days, floodwaters may recede from the lower reaches of the Dharla, Teesta and Sylhet regions.

Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Rangpur-Rajshahi and Sylhet divisions starting Saturday. It will rain elsewhere, including Dhaka. With that, you can blow a gust of wind. Also, day and night temperatures can decrease as the sky is cloudy. The result can be a mild feeling of winter.

Heavy to very heavy rains hit the country’s coastal districts on Friday. The highest rainfall was in Sitakunda, Chittagong. There has been 16mm of rain in the last 24 hours. In addition, 100mm of rain fell on Kurigram and Nilphamari.

The Department of Meteorology says heavy rains will continue from Saturday until next Monday. As the slight pressure created in the Bay of Bengal turned into slight pressure in Bihar, India, many clouds formed as a result. The Department of Meteorology said this is the main reason for this rain.
