Quader said: “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has released Khaleda Zia with the highest humanity and generosity thanks to Corona. It would be wrong for the BNP to regard this humanity as a weakness.
“However, due to a lack of trust in the people, the BNP leaders have been repeatedly confused and rejected by the people.”
The secretary general of the Awami League also said that the BNP was trying to “come to power illegally through conspiracy.”
“At this point in the epidemic, they are not on the side of the people, they are wandering the alleys of the conspiracy to come to power illegally. We would like to warn BNP leaders that if they get involved in any anti-people, anti-national conspiracy, the Awami League is ready to take the people of the country with them and give a broken answer.
Commenting that the BNP-Jamaat alliance does not want to represent the people, Quader said, “This alliance is always involved in conspiracy politics. The Bangladesh Awami League reflects the will of the people in their work by maintaining emotions, hopes and aspirations of this country.
“The Awami League never does conspiracy policies, it does not tolerate conspiracy policies. But time and again the Awami League is the victim of a conspiracy.”
Urging the party to evaluate the sacrificed party leaders in difficult times to complete committees at different levels, the general secretary said: “There is no need to make a leader as soon as someone joins the new party.”
Obaidul Quader asked everyone who has formed or will form a committee to follow the instructions of the president of the Awami League.
He said that the Awami League has established eight committees in eight divisions to carry out organizational activities at the grassroots level. “The team formed for the by-elections is working in the area. The party president, Sheikh Hasina, has always given instructions to carry out organizational activities in accordance with the health rules.
When asked when the full committee could be announced, Quader said: “There was no situation to form a committee because of Corona. There is no reason to think that the leader will approve the committee as soon as it is presented. There have been many incidents. That is why the committee will be given after verification and selection. “
Obaidul Quader said that a meeting of discussion, milad and prayer mahfil will be held on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s birthday on September 26.
Members of the Awami League presidium Matia Chowdhury, Abdur Razzak, Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Deputy Secretary General Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, Dipu Moni, Organizing Secretary Ahmed Hossain, BM Mozammel Haque were present at the meeting.
