The upper secondary exams will be organized within 15 days after the opening of the educational institution. Candidates will be given time for the necessary preparation. The decision was made in a meeting of the Coordination Committee of the Inter-educational Board on Thursday.

All kinds of educational institutions in the country are closed due to the global Covid-19 epidemic caused by the coronavirus. At the same time, exams for other classes have also been postponed, including Upper Secondary (HSC). HSC and equivalent exams would take place starting April 1.

At the meeting it was discussed that educational institutions will decide on the ninth class of candidates for this year’s JSC. It is also said that school authorities will be able to evaluate students in their own process and pass the ninth class. However, if the situation is normal, schools will reopen in November and the test will be taken in December.

Apart from this, if the JSC exam is not possible, the first two and a half months of the year will be evaluated based on class activities, parliamentary television and online class activities.
