16 days after the incident of rape of a six-year-old boy who broke into a house in the Kadirjangal junction of Karimganj upazila of Kishoreganj and picked up a child. The police arrested Ali Hossain (55).
Said the Karimganj Police Officer in Charge (OC). Mominul Islam confirmed the truth of the incident and said that on the basis of secret information, the investigating officer of the case, Police Inspector (Investigation) Nahid Hasan Sumon, this afternoon, the defendant Md. Ali Hossain was arrested. The defendant is being questioned at the police station. It will be sent to court tomorrow.
According to the CO, the boy from Kadirjungal Union was sleeping in the same bed with his parents on the night of 8 September as usual. Late at night, Ali Hossain went through the house and into the house and picked up the sleeping boy. Later, the girl was taken to the farm field next to the house, raped and abandoned. Hearing the cry of the child, a woman from the village went to the scene and rescued the injured child and took her home. The next day, Monday, September 6, the girl was admitted to the 250-bed Kishoreganj General Hospital and the girl’s father filed a rape case with the Karimganj Police Station.
The defendant Ali Hossain covered his body shortly after the incident. He is a resident of the village of Santarpur.
